The variety belongs to the green marrow-stem kale type. The plant forms a cylindrical, profusely leafy stem, with leaves accounting for approximately two-thirds of the total crop volume.

The green mass contains from 19 to 22% protein in dry matter and is also rich in vitamin C and provitamin A. The plants possess fairly high frost resistance.

The crop requires fertile soils but is capable of adapting to moist conditions. It can be grown as a main crop, as a stubble crop, or as an intercrop.
