The plant has heads of low height. The leaves have distinctly wavy margins. The heads of the variety are distinguished by a bumpy surface and a yellowish color, while after formation they have a tendency to become loose quite quickly.

The variety is intended for open field cultivation, in particular, it is suitable for the autumn period. In mid-20th century studies, its drought tolerance and reduced sensitivity to molybdenum deficiency, which causes "whiptail" disorder, were noted.
