Snowball is an heirloom variety, the name of which has become a collective term for an entire class of cauliflower varieties. This plant is characterized by a growing period of 65 to 70 days.

The heads of the variety are dense and white in color. Their weight usually varies from 0.5 to 1.5 kg. The plant forms protective wrapper leaves that cover the inflorescences.
