The plant is a highly branched bush with a height ranging from 30–40 to 100 cm. Unlike standard broccoli varieties, it does not form a single large central head; instead, the variety produces numerous side shoots. The leaves are dark green in color, narrow in shape, and often have serrated edges.

The variety is considered late-maturing, with a vegetation period of 60 to 90 days. The plant tolerates cool conditions well and has the ability to rapidly regrow shoots after cutting, which allows for multiple harvests throughout the autumn-winter season.

This vegetable is traditionally used in cooking for soups, stewing, and is also added to pasta and salads. Both the leaves and the young, tender shoots are consumed, which are harvested before the onset of flowering.
