The variety belongs to F1 hybrids bred based on inbred lines. It is characterized as early-maturing, forming large and dense heads, and was originally intended for commercial vegetable production.

Subsequently, the variety was used as a component in crosses for breeding new broccoli lines. The hybrid was also used in agronomic research to assess genetic and phenotypic variability, as well as in work on the isolation and culture of leaf protoplasts.
