The plant forms a semi-erect rosette of medium-sized leaves (50–60 cm) with a medium-length stalk. The heads have a round-flat or spherical shape and are colored an intense dark purple.
The variety is intended for fresh consumption, culinary processing, and canning. Due to their high density and resistance to cracking, the heads are suitable for short-term storage.
