The variety belongs to the winter group and is distinguished by crinkled leaves. The plants possess high endurance to adverse conditions and resistance to diseases. The period from sowing to harvest is approximately 12–16 weeks with a recommended distance between plants of about 60 cm.
The heads are suitable for universal use: they are used fresh for salads and coleslaw, as well as for stewing and preparing soups.
