Equatoria (Equatoria 1) variety belongs to the mid-season group with a maturation period of 75–85 days after transplanting. The plant has vigorous growth and forms compact heads of round or semi-flat shape with a blue-green foliage hue.

The weight of a single head ranges from 1.5 to 2.5 kg. The variety is characterized by high uniformity of produce, excellent field holding ability, and is adapted for cultivation in challenging agroclimatic conditions, including hot and humid climates. Intended for fresh market sale.
