The variety possesses resistance to Fusarium wilt and foliage diseases, as well as tolerance to heat. The produce is characterized by high transportability and the ability to be stored for up to 7–8 months without losing marketability or flavor. The primary purpose is long-term storage and sale during the winter-spring period.
