Variety description

10 August 2026

Secoma (Secoma RZ F1) is a mid-late hybrid with a vegetation period from 90 to 110 days. The plant forms round-shaped heads weighing 2.0–6.5 kg with a short internal core. The outer leaves have a saturated green color and a strong waxy bloom; the inner leaves are characterized by uniform layering.

The hybrid possesses resistance to bacterial rot and Fusarium wilt and is capable of growing in drought conditions. The variety is versatile in use: suitable for fresh market sale, short-term storage, and processing, including fermentation. Developed without the use of cell fusion methods.

The plant is suitable for various climatic zones; in southern regions, cultivation in the second rotation is possible.
