The Nepa F1 hybrid was created based on genetic lines where the maternal form was selected from the Kasumi variety. To date, detailed agronomic characteristics of the plant, such as maturity group, disease resistance, or yield, are missing in open publications.
The variety was included in official crop lists, but its commercial registration was terminated in the late 2000s.
