The plant reaches a height of 45–60 cm and has sturdy stems suitable for cutting. The flowers have a citrus-yellow or orange center and are characterized by less stickiness and aroma compared to the wild type.

The variety is used for ornamental purposes, in cooking, and for obtaining medicinal raw materials. The period from sowing to the beginning of flowering is 50–60 days. The plant requires a sunny location and well-drained soil.

The variety is susceptible to standard diseases and pests for the species, including aphids, powdery mildew, and cucumber mosaic virus.
