The plant forms low, dense cushion-shaped clumps. The flowers have a bell or star shape and are colored in blue and lavender tones. The ornamental foliage is capable of retaining its green color until winter.
The variety is relatively undemanding and possesses good resistance to cold, as well as to damage by deer and rabbits. The plant prefers well-drained alkaline or rocky substrates; crown rot is possible with excessive watering.
Flowering lasts from spring to early autumn. Due to its compactness, the variety is used in rock gardens, for edging, and as a groundcover plant.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
