Variety description

The variety is a compact perennial plant forming a mat of bright green foliage. The height of the foliage is about 20 cm, and the flower stalks are 28 cm. The total height of the plant varies from 20 to 30 cm.

The flowers are bell-shaped, nodding, and deep blue-violet in color. The flowering period occurs in June–July; repeat flowering is possible if inflorescences are removed.

The plant is winter-hardy and adapted to USDA zones 5–8. It prefers full sun or light partial shade, well-drained soils, and moderate watering. Used in rock gardens, borders, and container gardening.
