The 'Royal' series varieties are perennial plants with a compact, cushion-like growth habit. The plant height is 10–15 cm with a width of 20–30 cm. The plants possess cold hardiness and are capable of overwintering in the open field.

The 'Dark Royal' variety is distinguished by small flowers of a dark lilac shade and blooms from June to August. 'White Royal' features white flowers with a light fragrance and a prolonged flowering period.

The plants are versatile in their use. In indoor conditions, they are kept in bright locations with regular watering, avoiding soil desiccation. In the garden, they are suitable for flower beds, container compositions, and as ground cover plants.
