The «Afina» cultivar of Ukrainian breeding is an object of scientific research in the field of hemp breeding and physiology. Its characteristics have been studied within the framework of analyzing phenological development phases according to the BBCH scale, as well as in comparative studies of elementary fiber parameters.

The medical chemovar «Afina» from the company Bedrocan is intended for pharmaceutical purposes and the production of standardized raw materials. It contains about 22% THC and less than 1% CBD, is grown in specialized controlled conditions, and is not classified as an agricultural cultivar for the industrial production of fiber or seeds.
