The variety was bred as raw material for the production of paper pulp and used as a model organism for studying the fiber separation process. The plant is dioecious.

A distinctive morphological feature of the variety is the yellow color of the stem, caused by a recessive trait. The seed oil contains high levels of linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids. The THC content complies with the requirements for industrial hemp and is less than 0.2%.
