The variety is a medium-sized plant with lignified stems, very short internodes, and numerous side branches. The inflorescences are not very dense, but the plant has a high capacity for their formation.

The chemical profile of the variety is characterized by a CBD content in the range of 6–9% and a delta-9-THC concentration of about 0.2%. Under semi-arid Mediterranean climate conditions, the variety showed suitability for cultivation in macro-tunnels.

The variety «Pilar» served as the source material for the ornamental variety «Divina», which arose as a result of a spontaneous mutation and manifests in variegated leaf coloration.
