The variety is a traditional local variety, which is classified as a conservation variety. The plant's origin is associated with the Vyatka River region in Russia.

Plants reach a height of 150–200 cm. The variety is characterized as mid-ripening, with male plants maturing 2–4 weeks earlier than female ones, and seeds maturing by early September. The produce is distinguished by strong fiber; the seeds are gray in color and medium in size.

It is recommended to plant the variety in early May in wind-protected areas with fertilized humus soil; it is not suitable for clay soils. It belongs to the industrial plant type.
