Silesia belongs to the fiber-use type of Cannabis sativa. Unlike varieties focused on seed production, this variety is intended for industrial fiber production, which determines its morphological and economic characteristics.

Plants of this variety are monoecious and reach a height of 250–300 cm. The productivity of the variety is focused primarily on fiber biomass, while seed yields are lower than those of specialized grain varieties.
