The variety originates from the Sabugal region and is intended for fresh consumption, baking, grilling, or stuffing. The plant is adapted to organic farming conditions and low-input systems, including agroforestry systems.
The fruits have a smooth surface and are red at the biological maturity stage. The fruit contains 3–4 seed chambers, and the flesh is notable for its significant thickness, ranging from 0.7 to 0.9 cm. The taste is defined as sweet.
