The fruits of the hybrid reach a mass of 160–170 g and have a length of about 18 cm. During the ripening process, the color changes from light green to red.
The name Beja may be mistakenly associated with the Dutch breeding company Bejo Zaden, which is engaged in the production of seeds of various vegetable crops, however it is not a variety of this company.
