The Botinska rumena variety, also known as Botinečka žuta, belongs to a type of bell pepper that resembles a tomato in appearance. The fruits have a flattened rounded shape, reaching dimensions of about 5 cm in length and 7.5 cm in width, with an average weight of about 100 g.
The plant produces sweet fruits with thick flesh. During the vegetation period, which is 110–120 days, the color of the fruits changes from pale yellow or milky white to red. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, preparing salads, and canning.
