The variety is an F1 hybrid, maturing to technical ripeness in 65 days and to biological ripeness in 85 days. The plant is upright, vigorous, reaches a height of 60 to 100 cm, and has dense foliage that protects the fruits from sunscald.
The fruits are smooth, large, averaging 19 cm in length and 4–5 cm in diameter. The color changes from matte green to dark red. Pungency varies from 1 to 2000 Scoville heat units. The variety has intermediate resistance to Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV).
The pepper is suitable for frying, baking, grilling, pickling, and making sauces. The fruits withstand thermal processing and peeling well.
