The variety is a spontaneous mutation identified during the breeding process of the Maduro variety. The unique fruit coloration, consisting of red stripes on a yellow-orange background, is not transmitted when propagated by seeds; therefore, only vegetative propagation is used to preserve the traits.
The fruits have a square shape characteristic of blocky peppers, dense glossy skin, and thick walls. The flesh is distinguished by its juiciness and crisp texture, and the taste is characterized as mild.
The variety is grown in greenhouse conditions and is intended for commercial sale in the premium fresh produce segment. The plant is not intended for classical cultivation from seeds collected from fruits, as this does not allow for obtaining fruits with similar coloration.
