The sweet pepper Galaxy is an F1 hybrid of the bell pepper type. The fruits have dimensions of 120 by 110 mm, a deep green color at technical maturity and red at biological maturity, and are characterized by thick walls and a sweet taste. The variety is distinguished by good fruit set in cool weather and a vegetation period of about 72 days. The plant possesses resistance to tobacco mosaic virus, potato virus Y, and the physiological disorder 'stip'.
The ornamental pepper Galaxy F1 is intended for cultivation in containers, on balconies, or indoors. It is a compact plant about 25 cm tall with sturdy stems and abundant fruit production. The fruits of this type are small, weighing from 15 to 25 g, and belong to hot pepper.
