The HECTOR F1 hybrid belongs to determinate plants. Its fruits have a blocky shape, 4 chambers, a weight of 120 to 200 grams, and a wall thickness of 7–9 mm. At physiological maturity, the pepper is olive-green in color, and at biological maturity, it is red.

The plant possesses good plasticity to growing conditions and easily tolerates heat. The fruits are suitable for long-distance transport and storage. The yield is versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, freezing, and canning.

The hybrid exhibits tolerance to Verticillium wilt and Fusarium wilt, and also has intermediate resistance to Tobacco mosaic virus.
