The Jeromín variety is traditionally grown for paprika production. In breeding programs, it is used as a parent line for crossing with Hungarian varieties to improve color and pungency characteristics.
In scientific literature, the variety is characterized as an object of biotechnological research, particularly in experiments with isolated microspore cultures. The variety is not a mass-market commercial hybrid for gardening.
