Medusa is a naturally dwarf, highly branched plant with a height of 15 to 40 cm and dark foliage. The variety is early-ripening: the period from germination to the start of fruiting is 95–120 days. The plant is thermophilic, heat-tolerant, and does not require staking or crown formation.
The fruits have a long, thin, slightly twisted shape and a length of 5–7 cm. The fruit color changes from ivory to yellow, orange, and bright red, with fruits at all stages of maturity potentially present on one bush simultaneously. The pungency of the fruits varies from 0 to 1000 Scoville heat units, making them virtually non-pungent. The productivity per plant is 40–50 fruits.
The variety is intended for decorative use in container cultivation, including placement in pots with a diameter of about 10 cm, on windowsills, balconies, or as part of mixed plantings.
