The variety belongs to folk selection and is widely distributed in the countries of the Balkan region, Hungary, and Austria. The plant is characterized by high yield and fruit resistance to cracking.
Fruits reach a weight of 110–120 g, have an oblate shape and thick walls. There is a slight pungency, which manifests in the area of the seed chamber. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, as well as for stuffing and pickling at the yellow maturity stage.
