Pálinda F1 belongs to the apple type of pepper, characterized by compact fruits externally resembling small apples. In the biological maturity stage, the fruits acquire an intense red color, possess firm flesh, and retain their shape and color during heat treatment.
The variety is moderately pungent with a capsaicin content in the range of 2,000 – 3,000 SHU on the Scoville scale. The plants are distinguished by good vigor, and the fruits by high uniformity.
The pepper is intended for universal use: fresh consumption, stuffing, and sterilization. The variety is suitable for cultivation both in open field and in greenhouses.
