Professional Salomon F1 hybrids are early-maturing, tall plants that require staking. The fruits are predominantly blocky in shape, with a weight of 180 to 250 g and a wall thickness of 6–7 mm. Upon ripening, the color changes from green to bright red. The hybrids are resistant to Tobacco mosaic virus and have intermediate resistance to Tomato spotted wilt virus. They are primarily intended for protected cultivation.
The Salomon variety is characterized as mid-season with a fruit weight of 150–180 g and a wall thickness of 5–6 mm, recommended for cultivation in the open field. Also encountered is the designation "Solomon-Agro", under which mid-season or early plants for greenhouses and open field are offered, with fruit weights of 120–250 g.
