The plant reaches a height of 50–70 cm. The fruits are long, smooth, and cone-shaped, with a width of 4–5 cm and a length ranging from 15 to 20 cm. Technical maturity occurs in approximately 75 days, biological maturity in 90 days.
The pungency level of the fruits is 300–8000 Scoville heat units, with a taste described as mild and slightly sweet. The variety possesses resistance to tobacco mosaic virus, while in a number of studies it is used as a susceptible control when studying late blight.
