The plant is vigorous and branches actively. Depending on growing conditions, plant height ranges from 50–70 cm in containers to 1–1.7 m in open field or greenhouses. Due to active branching and the weight of the fruits, plants often require staking. The variety is mid-season, with ripening times ranging from 90 to 130 days.
Pods are thin, less than 1 cm in diameter, and have a length of 25 to 40 cm (up to 50 cm or more under ideal conditions), often curling into a spiral. The fruit walls are thin, making them suitable for drying. During maturation, the color changes from green to bright red. The variety has medium pungency and a sweet-fruity flavor without pronounced bitterness.
