The taste profile is characterized as rich, with earthy and "smoky" notes, while the pungency varies from 500 to 15 000 Scoville Heat Units. The fruits are suitable for drying, making sauces, salsas, and flakes.
The plant reaches a height of 90–120 cm, which allows it to be grown in large containers. In regions with cool climates, the use of greenhouses or plastic covers is recommended for full maturation within 90 days.
