The Varzim variety belongs to the semi-long pepper type with four lobes; fruit size is approximately 18 by 10 cm. The fruits have thick flesh, are heavy, and change color from dark green to bright red upon ripening.
The plant has good vigor and the ability for re-flowering and continuous fruiting. Recommended for spring-summer plantings, including in plastic greenhouses.
The variety has high resistance to Tobacco mosaic virus (Tm:0) and intermediate resistance to Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV).
