The Viktória variety is part of the breeding heritage of the Szeged region in Hungary and is included in the list of officially recognized varieties authorized for the production of products with the protected geographical indication Szegedi fűszerpaprika-őrlemény.
The plant belongs to the species Capsicum annuum L. of the Longum DC. group. The fruits have a characteristic pendent position and are intended for processing into spice powder.
