The plant forms dense tussocks with thin, hair-like foliage of a warm-brown color with possible pinkish shades. The height is from 25 to 50 cm. During the flowering period, it forms inconspicuous brown spikelets reaching a height of about 25 cm.
The variety is intended for ornamental use in gardens and planters. It is distinguished by resistance to Verticillium wilt and the ability to grow in sunny or semi-shaded areas with well-drained soils. Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zones 6b–10b.
