The plant has broad, arcuately curved green leaves that hang over the edges of containers. The height of the bush is 25–50 cm, and the diameter reaches 60 cm. In the climate of the Netherlands, the flowering period falls between the end of winter and late spring, when spike-like peduncles appear above the foliage.
The variety is characterized by vigorous growth and the ability to adapt to various lighting conditions: from direct sun to deep shade. The plant prefers moist, well-drained soils and has winter hardiness down to -25 °C. It is used in landscape design for creating borders, hanging compositions, and container plantings.
