The variety is high-oleic and contains the ol mutation, which correlates with a decrease in the expression level of the CtFAD2-1 gene in seeds. Due to the stability of the oil, the variety is of interest for the production of biodiesel and biolubricants.
The plant has orange wilted florets, an involucral bract width of about 13.63 mm, and a flower head diameter of about 21.44 mm. The period to maturity is 117–118 days, and seed yield can exceed 2500 kg/ha.
