Variety description

10 August 2026

Plants of the Bombay series are annual members of the Amaranthaceae family. Stem height varies from 40 to 100 cm, typically reaching 70–100 cm under professional protected cultivation. The crop is thermophilic, heliophilic, and is characterized by heat tolerance.

The series includes varieties with a diverse range of inflorescence colors, including purple, golden-yellow, and lime. The inflorescences have a dense cristate shape. The period from transplanting to harvest readiness is 8–12 weeks. Cut flowers maintain their decorative appearance in a vase for up to 3 weeks and can be used as dried flowers.

The plants feature strong, upright stems and high uniformity, ensuring their suitability for industrial production. In protected cultivation, humidity level control is required for the prevention of fungal diseases.
