The variety features a white central inflorescence surrounded by lateral shoots. The leaves are oval-shaped. The plant is often used as a reference variety in guidelines for the conduct of tests for distinctness, uniformity and stability to characterize the presence of flowering lateral shoots.
The plant is grown as a decorative cut flower crop. The variety is demanding of light, prefers well-drained soils and warmth, and is sensitive to temperatures below 10–16°C.
