Variety description

The plant forms dense, upright tufts. Narrow dark green leaves may turn golden-yellow or bronze in the autumn. Large, fluffy, spike-like panicles of a smoky-pink or purplish-pink color rise above the foliage, creating a fountain-like appearance. Plant height during the flowering period ranges from 0.9 to 1.2 m, with a bush width of 40–60 cm.
The variety is a warm-season grass, with flowering beginning in June-July and continuing until frost. The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness (down to USDA zone 5a), drought tolerance after establishment, and has no serious problems with diseases or pests. Due to sturdy flower stalks and an upright habit, the variety is resistant to lodging.
