Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 1.2 to 2.4 meters. Leaves about 5 cm wide change color from green to dark purple, almost black, as they mature, and retain this coloration throughout the summer. The variety is sterile, does not produce pollen or seeds, and flowering is possible only under short-day conditions.
The hybrid possesses high resistance to leaf spot caused by Helminthosporium fungi. The plant is used in landscape design to create accents, border site boundaries, or for cultivation in containers.
