Variety description
10 August 2026
Perennial grass reaching 90–120 cm in height and forming dense vase-shaped clumps. The leaves are narrow, linear, and colored in a combination of burgundy, bright pink, green, and white. The inflorescences are burgundy-purple panicles resembling bottle brushes in shape and bloom in late summer.
The plant prefers well-drained soils and full sun. It is drought tolerant, although it develops better with regular watering. The stems are strong and upright. The variety is sterile and does not form viable seeds; it is resistant to diseases and pests, but may require special care in high humidity conditions.
The plant is used exclusively for decorative purposes, including solitary plantings, container gardening, and borders. In regions with cold climates, it is cultivated as an annual.
