The plant is a highly branched annual with narrow lanceolate leaves of gray-green color and large inflorescences. The culture blooms from June to September or October.
Plants grown from seedlings are prone to lodging, therefore direct sowing into the soil is preferred. Cut flowers retain their freshness in a vase for about 10 days.
