Variety description

The plant has a dense upright form and reaches 1.2–1.8 meters in width. In late spring and summer, the shrub blooms with pom-pom shaped inflorescences consisting of small tubular flowers. After flowering, brown seed heads are formed.
The variety has high adaptability, is winter hardy in USDA zones 5–9, and is heat tolerant. It prefers moist or boggy soils, tolerates temporary flooding and ordinary garden conditions with regular watering.
It is used in ornamental gardening as an accent plant, for planting along water bodies, creating rain gardens, and attracting pollinators.
