The plant reaches 3–4 meters in height with a width of about 3 meters. The crown shape is rounded and bushy. When grown in a standard form, the final height depends on the rootstock parameters.
Young shoots are bronze-orange in color, which eventually changes to blue-green. In autumn, the foliage turns yellow and orange. Small pink flowers appear in April-May.
The variety is winter hardy, however, it is sensitive to late spring frosts that can damage May growth. It prefers fertile, moderately moist soils, does not tolerate summer drying out, and requires sheltered locations protected from the wind.
