The plant has a conical shape and is characterized by variegated foliage color. The cultivar is recommended for use in urban gardens, on patios, and for planting in rock gardens and containers.
The plant prefers sunny locations and moist, well-drained soils with a neutral or slightly acidic reaction, but shows tolerance to calcareous soils. When grown in containers, it is recommended to use a loam-based substrate.
The cultivar is low-maintenance and does not require special pruning. It may be susceptible to fungal diseases such as Phytophthora root rot and Armillaria root rot, as well as pest infestations, including aphids, juniper scale, and sawflies.
