Variety description

The plant has a compact, uniformly globose, cushion-like shape. The mature shrub reaches a height and width of about 50–80 cm. The needles are characterized by fine texture, softness, and a bluish-green hue with pointed tips.
The variety is winter hardy and withstands temperatures down to –25 °C. For normal development, it requires fresh, moist, and well-drained humus soils. The plant can develop in both sun and partial shade; however, in hot climates, it requires protection from direct midday sun to maintain needle coloration.
